The research and development of new technology applications into lighter and lighter preforms and closures in order to commercialize and penetrate a market which was traditionally dominated by cans and glass bottles. Defined strategy across all core business functions including product development, quality, sales and marketing along with investor relations. Collaborated with team in securing funding for additional investments during a period of recession and general economic malaise. Achieved considerable recognition within the banking environment both locally and abroad and within the Nigerian Manufacturing association being named the number one manufacturer to the top Beverage Multinationals.Provided commercially viable new methodologies in terms of contractual and tender pricing to multinationals through astute stewardship of funding and investment efforts through cross-functional internal and external teams.Effectively managed market fluctuations by constructing multiple 2 - 5 year business plans and budgets for both revenue and funding to secure 70% of future sales within multinational contracts and then dovetailing this with lower cost of capital funding. Directed profitable discussions with Central Nigerian Government's Bank of Industry representatives regarding an economic development initiative to reduce our consumption of 14 mw of power which resulted in a Government loan of $14m for a gas turbine plant at 50% of the prevailing corporate interest rates. Converted a fragmented Group of business into high volume operations, directing entire plant operations, 5 executives and 400 employees across sales, marketing, R&D, engineering, production, quality and facilities design and equipment selection. Revamped the operations division, implementing business process reengineering initiatives that resulted in the division increasing its revenue contribution and reducing its operational breakeven.Initiated Lean program that increased OEE's and reduced costs From pharmaceutical, to Personal Care, Dairy, and Beverage to general FMCG clients both locally and Globally we supported clients’ performance objectives.
